Meaning ‘first born’, Siqalo Lodge was the first lodge built at Royal Jozini and offers a unique experience as this lodge has its own water pan. It is quite likely you will see wildebeest, bushbuck, nyala and warthogs coming to drink – and even maybe a leopard or elephant! With its expansive main deck area, this is a wonderful place to watch the animals and to enjoy the shared patio, braai, boma and to cool off in the rim flow pool.
Siqalo Hippo and Siqalo Warthog rooms both have their own covered deck with table and chairs for enjoying the bliss of the bush. Guests booking one or both of these bedroom suites will share the main lodge’s kitchen (for food preparation and cooking), the braai, patio, pool and boma areas. (Other areas in the main lodge are private.)
