Situated in the southeast corner of Eswatini where Lake Jozini straddles the South African / Eswatini border – Kadana Tented Camp is located inside the magnificent 13,000 hectare Royal Jozini Private Game Reserve. With sweeping views across Lake Jozini, the location of Kadana is nothing shy of something special. Nestled in amongst stands of wild Tambuti trees populated by an abundance of birdlife, with the Lebombo Mountains guarding the east, this recently upgraded self-catering tented camp is completely off-grid. The camp itself consists of two four-bedded and five twin-bedded sleeping tents (total = 18 sleeper) with adequate lighting and plug points. A fully stocked thatched kitchen lapa with canvas drop down blinds leading onto a raised concrete area; and there is an ablution block, a separate firepit area and a well-lit braai area.

The tented camp ablution block is thatched and consists of 2 separate bathrooms with toilet, shower and basin in each. Each bathroom has its own gas geyser for the supply of hot water. The kitchen lapa is stocked with an efficient 350 litre DEFY electric fridge/freezer, a 260-litre deep freeze, a gas cooker, 2 x 8-seater dining tables and all cooking and dining utensils. There is also an overhead fan for hot days. Being located close to the marina and lake, this eco-friendly tented camp is ideally situated for those wanting quick fishing access. Being the most affordable accommodation on-site, it is perfect for a fishing weekend away with the boys, a birding group or some quiet family time in the bush. The camp is serviced by a dedicated housekeeper who will make beds, wash up and sweep!

The latest addition is the entertainment area, complete with a 5m x 3m pool with full length ‘’martini seat’’, a large wooden viewing deck and covered shaded area.

All linen and towels are provided with a housekeeper cleaning daily. (Wood for the braai and boma fire can be obtained from the gate, as well as ice.)
